I got this without even trying. If it doesn't pop this level there are plenty of opportunities throughout the campaign. Did anyone else see what Double Fine did there? Achievement called 'Pounder'? Ahhhh, those witty fellows Pounder Destroy 5 Enemies with a single explosion.

With this mission watch your rear, knobs can breach through around to the back and cripple your base. If you have decent anti-air machine guns like a 'Razor of the Gods', don't bother placing flak turrets, there aren't many aerial enemies and the machine gun turrets can do both.

An easy one if you have 2 x sniper cannons equipped, as there are only a few aerial enemies and no knobs. A new enemy class is introduced here, the 'sniper tube'. They'll cripple your trench so take them out as fast as you can. You also need to watch out for aerial and ground enemies flanking you as enemies come from all directions in this mission. At the end of this mission you may be rewarded with the 'Gungnir'; a powerful Level 5 sniper cannon.

You'll need 2 of these for Gold ranking the final boss so don't sell them like I initially did! Immediately lay down two machine gun turrets in front of your ship. Having at least one powerful sniper rifle helps a lot here. When you can, lay down two turrets at the intersection ahead. As soon as Bertha has been destroyed run to the other end of the map as your next asset is incoming and enemies arrive rater quickly.

With powerful weapons this is a rather easy mission to Gold. I had problems with this one until I equipped sniper cannons on my trench. In this mission you are surrounded by all sides by spawning enemies so make sure you can quickly dispose of the enemies as they spawn and also put up as many emplacements surrounding the drill bomb as possible.

Worms make an appearance here, so more emplacements means minimal disruptions. Try not to sway too far from your asset. With sniper rifles and a solid number of emplacements you can collect everything that gets murdered right in front of you. Time for another boss and this one is even easier!

Shoot the worm, then smaller worms then big worm again. Repeat until dead. Personally I wouldn't even bother with emplacements. Much easier with a chassis with six heavy-duty machine guns equipped. Finish 2 out of 3 chapters until done and another achievement under your belt.

The absolute best scrap generation weapon that can be carried on a mech is the Ripper. The Razor of the Gods weapon is glitched and generates a fraction of the scrap that it's supposed to, and for this reason, they should never be used.

What I mean is when you make a build it should have a plan, not one of every weapon. It just is. And not just because of the use of sod offs. Sometimes you have to accept that your weapon isn't great, and you must adjust and learn a new one. This isn't 'Call of Battlefield' where every weapon is the same with a slightly different style. It lends itself to being the best 'overall' weapon, though 'overall' seems a bit much when it can and has been used for the best runs made thus far in this game.

Amazing weapon. It can get just below the Albert's amazing DPS when pierce is abused, afterall. By being mediocre at everything they are worthless. Simple as that. Won't even say anything else on that, just let it soak in. While 'weak' they can be put in such a number that they can kill most enemies and bosses can be stalled in the trap.
